I was tasked with infusing a touch of glamour, femininity and whimsy into the industrial space, and, fresh from life in London I opted for an imaginative spin on Victorian style. I drew inspiration from restaurants and bars I'd been to, colourful British Designers and artisans and elaborate upholstery I'd probably seen in a palace!
One of the drivers in this design was that the space would allow for growth and evolution, adapting to the creative impulses of its owner, Bex Brent. Anything Bex did in this space, be it contemporary or crafted seemed to sit so comfortably with this interior.
Unfortunately, Willis York is no longer with us, but it was once a dynamic space where each visit revealed something new, with interior elements designed to support this ever-changing atmosphere.
