This Alan Minty designed home has elegant proportions and detailing in his classic architectural style. Thirty years on from its inception the Arts and Crafts influence provides the ideal foundation for its current owners personal style.
In 2019 KDID and Alan’s daughter Amelia of Minty Architecture, were commissioned to bring the home and interiors up to date to suit a busy family of five. The brief included the complete uplift replacement of tiles and underfloor heating throughout, walls moved to increase floorspace and improve flow, the swimming pool refresh and new kitchen, laundry, bathrooms and joinery throughout.
KDID blended contemporary and classic detailing, custom furniture, our trademark bespoke joinery, and layers of texture and pattern to create an elegant family home.
