Khandallah Modern Living

PHASE ONE: My clients are very much responsible for the beauty of their home. They had already made some great furniture decisions when they asked me 'tie it all together' in the dining and living rooms. My approach was to layer with an abundance of textures: linens, leather, wools, velvet and sisal in a restrained yet handsome colour palette. We painted out the walls and ceilings in white to define the architecture and create a gallery feel that would set off their spectacular art collection. Rugs throughout define each space. Curtains, cushions, leather chair, side tables, rugs and the ottoman were custom made for the space.

PHASE TWO: It was a pleasure to be invited back to address the main bedroom, ensuite and library / family living room. In line with the approach to phase one, we focussed on materiality, layering and textures in the custom joinery, finishes and specification.
