Khandallah Classic Villa

This is a beautiful home with elegant proportions enjoyed by a fun and busy family. I was asked to come up with the design of the large bookcase to house TV, audio, books and treasures. I also redesigned the fire surround; removing previous embellishments and building it back up again with appropriate profiles and proportions. KDID was responsible for the design and drafting of the joinery pieces in this lounge: the bookcase and fire surround. We also added colour and pattern with custom ottoman, chair, lampshade and cushions. The cricket table is an original KDID design made in oak and stained to complement client's other furniture. In the adjoining dining room I designed and drafted a customised window seat comprising two filing drawers and an internal cupboard. The squab, covered in high performance fabric completes the very comfortable sunny nook.
